Weighing at 52 Kg and powered by a 3/4 HP induction motor the BDS6x9 represents exceptional value for it's price, this is a very versatile combination sanding machine and over the years we have we have sold them to profession axe men for sharpening their axes and, fine woodworkers for their delicate inlaid box work, just to name a couple of end users.
An 80 grit self stick abrasive disk for affixing to the machines aluminum 230 mm diameter disk is supplied with the machine. We do stock and offer as an optional extra Velcro hook and loop kits for the sanding disk, if you choose to take this option it is best to do so at the time of purchase, then we can swap the supplied self stick disk for a Velcro backed. The finely ground aluminium sanding table can be tilted to any desired angle thru till 45 degrees and has a slot for the supplied mitre gauge.
On the flat surface sanding side the machine uses standard 150 x 1220mm sanding belts, the working surface is 150 x 435mm and can be set at any desired angle between horizontal and vertical, a removable stop/rest is provided, sanding internal and external is easily achieved on the machines front drum.
